Side note: Remember, during the election, when Mike Hislop put the first panel of this comic at the very top of the "Supporters" page on his campaign website. Remember that? That was awesome!
Mike Hislop attempts to capitalize on the "Seven-O-Bump."
Seven-O-Glossary

Mike Downey - Former Undersheriff elected as the Humboldt County Sheriff in 2010. His hair is actually neat and tidy.
Mike Hislop - Chief DA Investigator and Downey's opponent in the 2010 primary election. His haircut is slightly more neat and tidy.
Patrick Cleary - CEO of Lost Coast Communications and 2010 candidate for Humboldt County 5th District Supervisor. Known for failing to capitalize on the obvious slogan "The Clear-y Choice." He did not win the primary.
KXGO 93.1 - A Humboldt County classic rock radio station. Well, more "butt rock."
Lynyrd Skynyrd - A great '70s southern rock band.
Foghat - A tolerable '70s classic rock band.
Dio - A horrible '80s metal band. No really.
Jeff Lytle - 2010 Candidate for Humboldt County 5th District Supervisor. Lytle ran did not solicit any funds for his campaign and received little support.
Dave Parris -
Humboldt County coroner beginning in 2009 who ran for reelection unopposed in 2010.
The Undertaker - 6-time WWE World Champion. At the 1998 King of the Ring, The Undertaker competed against Mankind in a Hell in the Cell match that many cite as the greatest profesional wrestling match of all time. Some say he is the alter ego of Humboldt County Coroner Dave Parris.
Jeff Leonard - Elected to the Eureka City Council in 2002. Jeff was a 2010 candidate for Humboldt County 4th District Supervisor and emphasized his refusal to take donations from special interests, meaning he yielded less funds than his competitors. He came in last. Nice guy, though.
Bonnie Neely - Elected Humboldt County 4th District Supervisor in 1986. During her tenure, Neely founded the Dixieland Jazz Festival to raise money for local senior programs. Bonnie plays a mean sousaphone.
Virginia Bass - Mayor of Eureka beginning in 2006 and a 2010 candidate for Humboldt County 4th District Supervisor. Her campaign slogan was "Hooked on Bass." She famously sent Will a birthday card.
