 |  On this night we found ourselves in Lost Coast Brewery and I, not Will, got the Lost Coast sampler. If you've ever gotten one, you know the deal. But for the rest of you, they bring you out this piece of wood with a handle that looks like a paddle you would use in a fraternity initiation. The board has ten holes in it, each with a small glass in it featuring a different Lost Coast beer. Then they give you a sheet of paper that lists the order of the beers, so even when you get to beer nine and your too drunk to read, someone can tell you what's next. I always drink my beers in numerical order because I figure there is a reason someone put them that way. Some wise beer wizard, I guess. The tenth beer is my favorite, Tangerine Wheat. Call me a wuss if you must, but I love me some fruity beer. But on this night Will grabbed my last beer just as I was about to consume it and downed the whole thing. Definition of a jerk. Now, Will and I have been recognized on occasion for the "work" that we do but I can't think of a time when it mattered more than in Lost Coast Brewery. Our waitress overheard me whining about the situation and brought me a full Tangerine Wheat, on the house and said it was the least she could do since the two of us make her "laugh her ass off."
