![]() | ![]() At some point, I
read somewhere that Elvis Presley's mother was disturbed by the fact
that he died at the end of one of his movies and forbade him to ever do
it again. Elvis, being a good mama's boy, followed his mother's orders.
If you will all refer to the book of Exodus you will see that Elvis was
just following Commandment numero cinco. What a nice boy.
Now, Will Startare on the other hand is a true rebel. Apparently after the release of the last slimeball strip, Will's father expressed his distaste at seeing his son, a married man, womanizing in print for the whole world to see. So, at this point I feel as though I should reveal something about the Seven-O-Heaven production process. Despite what you all might think, Will does not actually have to speak the words that appear in the speech bubbles for them to get there. He usually just stands there in silence worrying about what he's getting into this week. The priceless lines in this strip were compiled by polling local barista's for actual sentiments that had been expressed to them by male custumors. Of course, I did approve them for print. So if either of us has a problem with respecting women between Will and I, it's probably me. Sorry I got you in trouble Will. (Although I might have to punch Will for wearing the same sweater in two consecutive coffee themed comics. Not very professional. People are going to think we shot them on the same day or something.) For those of you who can't enough of watching Will hit on baristas, become a fan of Seven-O-Heaven on Facebook to see outtakes. -AG |
