Sometimes I worry too much. When I look at this comic now, the first thing I wonder is if the former owners of Arctic Circle will see it someday and it will uncover old wounds. I remember reading the story about the opportunist lawyer who was systematically going through local businesses and calling them on slight ADA violations in order to make a buck and being personally perturbed about the whole situation. I looked it up, his name is Jason K. Singleton. Send him some dog poo in a bag. Super lame. Anyway, I hope the people that used to run the Arctic Circle will enjoy this, wherever they are.

My initial thought with Seven-O-Heaven was that the easier, more obvious Humboldt topics would probably wear out pretty quickly, and that if I was going to make more than a handful of these things I would have to expand the individual personalities of the characters in the strip. I don't think I really need to explain the direction the comic versions of Will and Andrew are headed, but if it's still confusing, consider the colors used for their respective dialog bubbles. You'll get it.

Were you one of those kids that liked to stick different kinds of bugs in a box to see which one would kill the other?

     I was, and am.
